search: go to church ignore

I think I’m going to start doing something. If someone finds my blog through an awesome search string, then I will write a post about whatever that search string says. How I qualify something as awesome: if I consider it awesome, then it is awesome. I think I will write these as response letters, like Dear Abby or something. We’ll see.

Dear Dan,

Go to church ignore

- I.M. Borde (awesome, I know!)

Dear I.M. Borde,

First of all, nice name; an awesome guy must have thought that up! Secondly, please structure your questions to me in, I don’t know, whole sentences, or at least coherent strings of words. Third, lets talk about the question I am assuming you are asking: what can I ignore when I go to church.

Here’s a list of what I think is ok to ignore at church:

  • Sermons
  • Music
  • Tithes/Offering
  • People’s clothes/hair/jewelery
  • The pastor’s coffee breath
  • The beautiful decorations and flowers
  • The Christian and American Flags

And probably what you shouldn’t ignore:

  • The other people

Now here is what people usually don’t ignore:

  • Sermons
  • Music
  • Tithes/Offering
  • People’s clothes/hair/jewelery
  • The pastor’s coffee breath
  • The beautiful decorations and flowers
  • The Christian and American Flags

And what they normally do ignore:

  • The other people

Hope this helps!

Please keep coming to my blog through crazy search terms and I will keep pointing them out when they are awesome.

but when i pay attention to all of those scumbags searching for some feel good remedy it makes me sick. cant i just pay attention to the back of the pews and i can feel better about my life without getting my hands dirty and actually loving anyone? same reason i always vote for someone that isnt on the ballot. then if something doesnt make me happy about the chosen candidates term i can always say i didnt vote for them.
