…or church <> church or church does not equal church. However you want to say it, the modern church is fundamentally NOT the biblical church.

The issue with modern day church reform is that it is a reform. Reform implies fixing or changing. Modern day church is not the church of the bible and it never will be. You can’t turn a dog into a cat. No amount of reform will change the modern church into the biblical church

Lots of people feel like there is something wrong with the church today. They see the problem and they try to figure out how to fix it. You really wanna fix things? Start by realizing that what we call church is not a broken form of the church; it is not the church. It is an idol and a spiritually abusive system that destroys faith and stunts people’s spiritual growth so that we have a bunch of so-called “Christians” running around whose lives are not effected in even the most insignificant of ways by what they say they believe. Church is a fraud.

Stop asking questions like how you can do services differently, how you can include more participation into your meetings, how you can develop more fellowship among the church members, and all that non-sense. You can’t make church into the church. They are not the same thing, no matter how many loud-mouthed love-to-hear-themselves-talk pastors have told you they are.
